01

More than movement

A practice that travels home with them.

Children learn basic Aikido movement, safe falling, blending, and redirection. Just as importantly, they practice patience, awareness, teamwork, and care—skills that matter at school, at home, and with friends.

01

Confidence

Learn to meet challenges calmly, try again after mistakes, and recognize progress without comparing against others.

02

Coordination

Develop balance, safe falling skills, flexibility, and full-body awareness through purposeful movement.

03

Focus

Practice listening, observation, self-control, and the ability to stay present—even when something is difficult.

04

Community

Train with partners, care for the shared space, and learn that strength includes helping others succeed.

In their own words

The practice, through their eyes.

Hear Gabe and Talise share their impressions of a NorCal regional youth seminar, followed by perspective from Gerard Enriquez Sensei. No polished script—just the people who make the practice real.
