Come as you are and watch the class from the sidelines. Take in the atmosphere, the teaching, and the rhythm of practice to see whether it speaks to you.
An observation is for watching rather than participating. If Aikido feels right, we will help you register, sign the waiver, arrange payment, and obtain a uniform before your first class.
Questions are welcome
No. Aikido can be adapted to different bodies and levels of conditioning. Practice builds mobility, strength, and confidence gradually.
No. We train cooperatively rather than for tournaments. Partners take turns practicing techniques and helping one another improve.
Yes. A white training uniform, or gi, is required before you participate in class. We have uniforms available for purchase at the dojo.
Yes—in fact, we recommend it. Review the schedule, contact us to confirm your visit, and watch a class from the sidelines. Participation begins after membership registration, signed waiver forms, payment setup, and obtaining an approved uniform.
Membership dues are charged automatically each month to a credit or debit card, making payment simple and predictable.
A 10% discount is available for military, fire, and police personnel, couples, and eligible family memberships.
