Aikido Institute of San Francisco will be hosting a special fundraising event next Saturday, March 23, from 2pm – 4pm PST.

We will be hosting Kaz Tanahashi Sensei, a pre-war student of O’Sensei. Tanahashi Sensei is a master calligrapher, author, and Zen teacher (please see www.brushmind.net for more info).

He will be sharing memories of his time with O’Sensei while brushing calligraphies that will be available for sale. He will take custom requests as well.

Proceeds will benefit his non-profit organization, www.aworldwithoutarmies.org. Calligraphies would be priced in the $100-$300 range, depending on the size chosen.

The event will be held on Saturday, March 23 from 2 – 4pm PST.
